This week, Nicola and Judith discuss the importance of signing a business contract / instalment. Do you ask your clients to sign a contract? Do you offer payment by way of instalments? What to do if your clients sign up for something you offer, then scarper without meeting their side of the deal, or inferring that you haven’t. Does either party have any legal redress? What if clients don’t pay in full, having taken the instalment option but then suspend your core service while still wanting to keep access to the remainder of the benefits which come with your package? Is better client qualification the answer, or better contracts, or both? What do you do if and when things go wrong? Fingers crossed they don’t, but business is business!
